Starting October 15, 2024, stores using our Multi-Storefront (MSF) functionality can toggle most shipping methods on or off per storefront. Additionally, we’re proud to announce that the ability to customize on the storefront level the messaging that displays whenever a shopper enters an address outside of your store’s shipping zones will be added in the near future.
The shipping method Storefronts setting allows you to choose which static shipping quotes, excluding free shipping, and real-time shipping quotes can be displayed on your storefronts. This gives you the flexibility to match your store’s shipping options to each storefront’s targeted audience.
Greater flexibility means shipping methods aren’t a one-size-fits-all component of every storefront on your store. Leverage the shipping options available in your store to create unique shipping solutions for each storefront, such as setting up different flat-rate methods for each storefront, or enabling our UPS® integration for your B2C storefront and FedEx for your B2B storefront. Prevent countries from appearing in the drop-down selector at checkout by disabling all methods within a shipping zone for a storefront, without it affecting any other storefront in your store.
To get started, create or edit a shipping method, then select the Storefronts tab to customize your storefront selections.
On the Shipping page, select how countries display in the drop-down list at checkout using the Shipping address form display setting. You can choose between displaying all countries or only displaying countries where you have active shipping zones and methods.
Whether your storefronts cater to different regions or different customer segments like B2B, offering appropriate shipping methods can reduce checkout friction and lower shipping costs.
Take advantage of storefront-specific shipping methods to enrich the checkout experience and offer a personalized touch.
